Tachometer / Rev. Counter #1

Received on 12 August 2001, Posted on 18 August 2001 - How do you monitor your RPMs, I can't seem to find any gauge for a one cylinder motor ?

Tachometer / Rev. Counter #2

Received on 17 August 2001, Posted on 18 August 2001 - On the manual, it talks about idling speed of 1300 rpms. This is a stupid question, but I don't think there is a tach on my engine so how do I know what 1300 rpms would be ?

Revised on 21 October 2001 - You can measure the RPM using a portable Tach / Dwell Tester. Alternatively, digital tachometers are readily available and are not particularly expensive. Click here for all you need to know about measuring the RPM.
