COMMENT BOX - we will put a selection of your comments on this subject on this page

  1. We are aware that quite a few people in Ireland are now taking Enada/NADH in the hope that it will somehow reduce their Parkinsonian symptoms. It is too early yet to say it is good, bad or indifferent, but we will report any experiences!

...a large clinical trial of Enada/NADH has just started  in the USA…..

  2. The well known neurologist, Dr. Abraham Lieberman, writing about NADH on the National Parkinson Foundation website, sanctions the inclusion of an article on NADH on the website, saying that "because there have been so many questions about NADH, we thought the facts and theories about NADH should be presented." He cautions, however, that " there are no scientific studies which indicate NADH is beneficial in PD. On a personal basis I do not recommend it for my patients: it sounds good but there is no evidence to support what it says."

Comment 1 - Ireland
Where driving was once very tiring, and 30 minutes' driving was all that could be managed before my spouse had to take over, my driving tolerance has increased to at least double the time before relief is required. No improvement in PD symptom control noted - as yet, but the greater degree of alertness was not expected.
