Jim: I'm back! (sees Fiona has been packing) Fi, what's going on?
Fiona: I've decided to leave Jim
Jim: What? Leave Weatherfield, but why?
Fiona: I'm not leaving Weatherfield, I'm leaving you
Jim: I can't believe I'm hearing this. I thought we had a future together
Fiona: So did I at one time but things have changed
Jim: What has changed?
Fiona: I have realised that I love somebody else
Jim: Who?
Fiona: Steve (Jim shocked)
At B&B
Sharon: What's for breakfast Vera?
Vera: Mrs. Duckworth to you Sharon
Sharon: Sorry. Mrs. Duckworth what is for breakfast?
Vera: Nothing much, you'll have to go to the cafe for something to eat (Sharon annoyed)
Sharon: I don't know why this is called a B&B because it's a flamin' kip!
Vera: How dare you say that!
Sharon: Oh go to hell Vera
Vera: My word, I have never been so offended in all my life
Judy: Don't let that dozy cow get to you
Jack: The taxi is here
Gary: Right then, we better be off
Jack: I'll give you a hand with the luggage Gary
Judy: This is it then Vera
Vera: Yes it is, oh come here (They hug) I'll miss you and Gary
Judy: We'll miss you too Vera, you must come and visit us sometime
Vera: We will, we will (Holds back the tears)
At Bishop's
Emily: I shall be going into town today, is there anything you would like me to get you both?
Norris: Actually Emily, I could do with some superglue
Percy: You could get that in Sally Webster's hardware store
Norris: The quality of their superglue is not up to my standards
Percy: Nothing is
Norris: Now hold on a minute Percy. I've had just about enough of you
Percy: I don't see what I have done to offend you
Norris: From the moment you moved back in here you have been trying to undermine me
Percy: That's not true
Norris: Well I won't say where I am not comfortable. I will leave today
Emily: But where will you go?
Norris: I'll find somewhere
Percy: And I thought that I was the moan!
At McDonald's
(Steve enters)
Jim: Well if it isn't the man himself
Steve: You've told him then
Jim: Oh she's told me all right and do you knwo something it doesn't surprise me, you always took my girls
Steve: That's total rubbish and you know it
Fiona: I think we should leave before anything else happens
Jim: I don't see you as my son anymore, I just see you as a lesser man. You won't be able to satisfy Fiona like I did
Steve: Right that's it (Punches Jim in the face)
Fiona: Steve, what did you do that for?
Steve: He had it coming (Jim wipes blood from mouth)
Jim: You've crossed the line now son (Charges at Steve and starts to beat him up)
Fiona: Stop it the pair of you! They're going to kill each other!
At Roy's Rolls
Roy: Your full English breakfast is on its way Martin
Martin: Cheers Roy
Hayley: I don't know why you are serving him after what he has done to Gail
Roy: He is as entitled to eat here as anybody else
Toyah: But Roy, you serving a cheating lying rat won't send out a good message to the other customers
(Alf enters and sees Martin)
Martin: Look Alf, if you're here to give me a lecture then...
Alf: I wouldn't call it a lecture but it is something that you need to be told...
Les: That Derek Wilton is so easy to wind up
Janice: Leave Derek alone, he's harmless and besides we don't want him making complaints to the council, do we?
Les: No, I don't suppose we do
Alf: I don't know what went wrong between you and Gail and quite frankly I don't want to know but tell me this, why did you continue the affair after Sarah Lou got pregnant
Martin: We couldn't stop ourselves Alf, we loved each other too much
Alf: I am afraid I don't buy that Martin, you should have been mature enough to realise the consequences of your behaviour
Martin: I knew it would destroy the family but I couldn't do anything about it
Toyah: I wouldn't expect Gail in today considering the circumstances
Hayley: I think that I'll pop around later (Gail enters)
Roy: There will be no need for that Hayley
Martin: Gail!
Gail: You didn't expect to see me here today did you?
Martin: No I didn't
Alf: Are you sure it's wise for you to be in here today Gail?
Gail: I am indeed Alf, because it's going to take more than that scumbag to ruin my life
Roy: Seeing as you are here Gail, you can give Martin his breakfast
Gail: With pleasure Roy. Here you go Martin (throws the whole lot over Martin) (Everyone laughs)
Les: Looks like Florence is going to be foodless as well as homeless!
On Coronation Street
Fiona: Will somebody please help. Jim and Steve are beating each other senseless (Norris walks by)
Norris: Don't look at me, I am going to get on with my daily business
Fiona: Thanks for nothing
Kevin: What's going on? (Steve comes flying out through the window)
Fiona: Steve! Jim, how could you do this to your own son?
Jim: He deserved it
Fiona: He didn't deserve to be hospitalised! You're sick!
At The Kabin
Norris: Sorry I am late ladies
Mavis: So you should be
Rita: Is everything ok Norris, it's not like you to be late
Norris: I have had a domestic argument
Mavis: Have you?!
Norris: I have told Mrs. Bishop that I am not prepared to stay in the same house as that ladies man Percy Sugden!
Rita: Oh come on Norris, I would hardly call Percy a ladies man!
Norris: He has Blanche Hunt and Maud Grimes practically falling over him!
(Enter Sharon)
Sharon: I trust you have made your decision Rita
Rita: I certainly have Sharon. Let's go up to the flat to discuss it in private
Mavis: Damn! I was hoping to hear their conversation!
At Corner Shop
Maud: I don't know who that Blanche Hunt thinks she is but I won't have her taking Percy from me
Reg: Quite frankly my dear I couldn't give a damn! (Jim enters) Hello Jim (Jim doesn't answer)
Maud: I was thinking of inviting Percy around for dinner
Reg: What is it about Percy Sugden that has you old bags fighting over him?
Maud: He is a gentleman (Jim slams a bottle of whiskey on the counter)
Reg: It's a bit early for whiskey Jim
Jim: Did I ask for your opinion? No I didn't, so just serve me and shut up
Reg: Sorry I spoke
Jim: So you should be
Reg: £3.50 please (Jim hands Reg a fiver and walks out) You forgot your change Jim!
Maud: I don't think he cares that much about it (Bet enters)
Bet: Do any of you know what is up with Jim?
Reg: No, but all I know is he isn't very happy
Bet: So Reg, what brought you back to Weatherfield, it certainly wasn't the scenery
Reg: No it wasn't Bet, it was something much sweeter than that (referring to Bet)
Maud: And what brought you back Bet?
Bet: I missed being the main character in the show!
Maud: I bet you don't miss all your failed relationships!
At Rita's Flat
Rita: You have to realise what you did to me Sharon
Sharon: I know I treated you badly Rita but it was Ian's influence over me
Rita: Don't use Ian as an excuse Sharon. You have a mind of your own and you what you were doing was wrong so I don't buy that excuse. And another thing, you nearly sold this place from under my very nose and I won't forgive you for that.
Sharon: I'm really sorry for that
Rita: Oh you will be because I have decided to cut my losses and tell you to get out of my house and get out of my life!
Sharon: But Rita...
Rita: You heard me (Opens the door) There's the door and don't let it hit you on the way out
At The Kabin
Norris: I've heard a door being opened
Mavis: Have you?
Bet: What are you two listening to?
(Sharon and Rita enter)
Rita: I don't need you in my life anymore
Sharon: Good riddens to all of you. I never liked this place anyway
Bet: Then why the hell did you come back?
Sharon: Stay out of this drag queen
Bet: Drag queen, how dare you! (goes to smack her)
Rita: No Bet. I'm not normally a violent woman but in this situation I think I'll have to use it (Smacks Sharon)
(Sharon leaves upset)
Norris: That was amazing! It was like we were on the set of a Hollywood blockbuster!
Bet: Are you ok Rita?
Rita: I'll be ok, I just need some time on myown. I think I'll go back to the flat for a while
Mavis: Poor Rita
At The Rover's Return
Raquel: There is your two pints of bitter Derek
Derek: Thank you Raquel
Des: You mts be thirsty Derek because it's not very often you see someone ordering two pints for themselves
Derek: Oh these pints aren't just for me Desmond, one is for Norris. He said that he had some important news to tell me
Des: I hope it isn't any bad news about your turnips, I'd hate to see them die!
Derek: Must you always poke fun at my garden (Goes to sit down)
Raquel: You never could resist having a go at poor Derek
Des: Listen Raquel, I want to prove to you that I have changed...
Raquel: You mean from a lying cheating rat to an angellic romeo
Des: Something like that. Would you like to come out with me sometime next week?
Raquel: I'll have to check my diary but I would say that there is a good chance that I will be available
Greg: You'll have to let me take you out to celebrate our new partnership
Sally: I have realised something about you Greg Kelly
Greg: Oh?
Sally: I think people have got the wrong idea about you. Most saw what you did to me as dreadful but I think that you are genuinely sorry for that and have shown a new side to you, a side to you that I like alot
Greg: I'm glad to hear it. With me and you back in business together, things are looking up
Sally: They sure are. There is one thing though, don't tell Kevin about our arrangement. I'll tell him in my own good time.
Greg: That's fine by me (Kevin enters) I better be off, bye!
Sally: Bye!
Kevin: What were you doing talking to him?
Sally: Nothing, just being polite
Kevin: Incase you have forgotten Sally, Greg was anything but polite to you and the girls a few months ago
Sally: Can we please change the subject? Get me a pint please (Sally sighs)
Natalie: Martin, you could say that me and you have alot in common now
Martin: How do you make that out Natalie?
Natalie: We both like having affairs, wrecking marriages and we are both homeless!
Martin: As far as I am concerned I am not in your league as far as causing chaos is concerned and believe me Natalie, I won't be staying homeless for long, especially if I have to listen to your crap!
Derek: Your bitter has turned sour Norris
Norris: I am very sorry that I am late Derk. There was alot of activity in the Kabin today. Mavis will tell you when you get home.
Derek: What did you want to talk about?
Norris: Well Derk, the thing is I have left Mrs. Bsihop's
Derek: Why?
Norris: I cannot stand Mr. Sugden. Anyway what I was wondering was could I stay with you and Mavis for a while
Derek: Oh Norris, I'm not sure...
Norris: Please Derek, I'm desperate! (Derek still unsure)

Vera: I'll really miss the Mallett's
Jack: So will I. Imagine the Ogden's coming back to Weatherfield. I would never have thought it!
Vera: I'll have to pay Hilda a visit sometime (Knock at the door)
Jack: I wonder who that could be
Vera: It better not be that Sharon Gaskell. Just take her money and tell her to sling her hook!
Jack: It's not Sharon
Vera: Who is it? (Terry enters)
Terry: Hello mam (Vera shocked)

Audrey: I still can't believe what Martin has done to this family
Gail: The more I think about it, the more I get annoyed
Alf: Then maybe it's best if you didn't think about it at all
Gail: That is easier said than done
Sarah: Mam, I have something to say
Audrey: Yes Sarah, is Bethany ok?
Sarah: She's ok but David and I aren't
Gail: What's the matter Sarah?
Sarah: We miss Martin. We know that he has behaved appallingly but we still love him
Gail: I know you do but he doesn't love us
Sarah: No mam, he doesn't love you but he does love us (Gail upset)
Audrey: I don't think your mother wants to hear this now Sarah
Sarah: What I am asking you mam is to ask Martin to come back, for us it not for you (Gail shocked)
