This page allows the viewer to adjust it's background colour and returns a hexadecimal value for that colour. The table below shows values for the three primary light colors. They can each be adjusted between 0 and 255, either by entering values in the forms and clicking the Update Color button or, for fine adjustments, holding the mouse over UP or DOWN for each color, this will automatically adjust the color and the output value.

These three values are converted to base 16 and form the 6 digit hexadecimal number displayed in the form below right. This value can be used by web developers for custom designed colours in their web pages.

When tested on a G4 Mac running Safari 1.1.1 the colour transition on the background of this page is really smooth, on a Windows 95 PC using Internet Explorer 4.0 the color changes in sudden jumps.
Best viewed at a resolution of 1024 or better.
