Pierce's Point Of View

WRESTLEMANIA X8 had to be one of the greatest pay per view events ever in WWF history. Although some shit bands (drowning pool, saliva) and the shit main event nearly ruined it! There was though in my view the true main event that saved Wrestlemania X8 and that was probably the greatest match ever Hollywood Hulk Hogan V's The Rock!

This was an amazing match not because of the moves, not because of blood or jumping of a cage this was an amazing match because of story telling! Hulk Hogan is the greatest ever story teller in a match, he controls the crowd. He can make them laugh, cry, cheer. Hogan is the only superstar who could turn a crowd against The Rock like he did last Sunday. I have never seen a crowd so pumped up about a wrestlers every move, the crowd chanted "Rocky sucks".

Rocky has never gotten so much heat like he did last Sunday in a very long time, in fact the last time I remember a Rocky sucks chant was when The Rock was Rocky Mavia! I don't think anyone expected such an ovation for Hogan, this proved another point and that is that the fans that go out of their way to buy Wrestlemania tickets are true fans, they're old school fans, they're hulkamaniacs! These fans aren't just fans that watch WWF now and again like some people I know, these fans aren't fans that only started to watch WWF because of the likes of The Rock or Stone Cold, these fans started watching WWF because of Hulk Hogan!

Everyone one of these new fans that only started watching in the WWF attitude period haven't got a clue of what Hulkamania can do, they don't appreciate Hulk Hogan because they've never seen any of his matches.....AND THEY HAVE THE NERVE TO CALL THEMSELVES FANS! (I'm not mentioning any names Niall Ryan!)

After seeing Hulkamania run wild over The Rock and seeing Hogan in probably the greatest match ever these idiot WWF attitude fans want to be Hulkamaniacs! Well I think Hogan said it best when he said "You can kiss my ass". What gives you the right to be a Hulkamaniac, nearly every single one of these WWF attitude fans doubted Hogan " He's too old", "He's shit acting" , "He can't rip his shirt off" that's just a few quotes.
