The Fry Model Railway has hand-built working models, in O' gauge, of trains, trams, buses, and boats on a large layout of almost 2,500 square feet in area. There is also a display hall with static exhibits relating to the history of railways in Ireland. The museum is suitable for visitors of all ages, and there are other attractions in the grounds, too, including tours of the castle, a large doll's house, extensive gardens and parklands, with the village of Malahide and the coast very close by.
