Statue  Jesus, the Divine Mercy; A 12" hand-painted statue of The Lord, as revealed to Blessed Faustina Kowalska on Feb.22nd 1931, with the rays depicting the blood and water which flowed from the pierced heart of Christ.                 (St. John 19.34).                                                                                                              

In 1932, Our Lord said to Sister Faustina:
“I desire that you know more profoundly the love that burns in My heart for souls; and you will understand this when you mwpeF.jpg (4750 bytes)editate upon My passion.  Call upon My mercy on behalf of sinners: I desire their salvation.  Let no soul fear to draw near to Me even though its sins be as scarlet, My love and mercy know no bounds. When you say this prayer, with a contrite heart and with faith on behalf of some sinner, I will give that soul the grace of conversion
.

Our Holy Father, Pope John Paul 11, beatified Sister Faustina on April 18th 1993. She will be canonised on Divine Mercy Sunday, April 30th,this year. "Blessed Faustina, secretary of The Divine Mercy, intercede for us and protect our Holy Father"      The full account of her revelations is recorded in her Diary, "Divine Mercy in my Soul", available from Catholic booksellers.
